(Senior) Associate Director – leadership role in a startup PR agency trumpeted as one of a select few to look out for in 2018/19
I am looking for someone smart, ambitious and fearless to take a senior role in a startup agency which has already achieved eyecatching success. After just 12 months it was trumpeted as one of a select few agencies to look out for in 2018, and that recognition has continued into 2019.
The specific level of the role is flexible – it could be Partner or Associate Partner, depending on experience. What’s certain is this is a senior leadership role, part of the Board, working closely with the founder – a hugely respected industry figure with a track record in major PR agencies. Someone who has always had an entrepreneurial streak and is looking for a similarly minded individual.
The role demands someone with a willingness to embrace the challenge, excitement and rewards a startup environment has to offer. A business partner, who wants to play a key role in growing an agency. Someone with a superb attitude, highly capable with clients, extremely thorough, and comfortable being very visible in the agency.
Although it’s still relatively early days the offering is being built broadly around corporate brand work. Getting the message absolutely right, and making it as emotive as possible. Substance, not fluff. Building narratives and telling stories that people can genuinely connect with.
The team is going after a wide array of business, therefore this hire is less about specific sector experience, and more about the right attitude. Indeed their approach to recruitment is that every new person needs to be able to add a new layer of ability and experience to the agency.
